A building permit application for the Vierumäki spa project has been submitted to Heinola’s construction authority. The spa with several pools would be located about an hour and a half from the capital region.
Fennia Mutual Insurance Company and Elo Pension Insurance Company plan to build a multi-pool spa in Heinola Vierumäki, about an hour and a half’s drive from the capital region.
Fennia and Elo are investors in Vierumäki Hotellikinteistöt Ky, which is behind the spa project.
A building permit application has been submitted to the city of Heinola for the full-scale spa that will be connected to the hotel.
Based on the permit application, the spa will have four swimming pools and five different saunas, including a smoke sauna, a steam sauna and a salt sauna.
The total area of \u200b\u200bthe spa is more than one thousand three hundred square meters. There are 177 parking spaces on the property.

Holiday Club Resorts oy, which operates as a hotel operator, has said that the goal is to have a spa connected to the hotel by 2024.
