Häme Chamber of Commerce survey predicts economic recovery
According to the survey, the profitability of companies is also improving.
A recent economic survey conducted by the Häme Chamber of Commerce shows signs of a pick-up in the business cycle.
According to the Häme Chamber of Commerce, the survey shows that the turnover and order books of Häme-based companies are growing compared to the previous year.
Of the enterprises that responded to the survey, 33% say their turnover increased during the first half of the year. Nearly 22% of enterprises report an increase in their order books compared to the previous year.
One third of companies expect revenue to increase over the next six months. One fifth of the companies are anticipating the increase in ordering stock.
According to the survey, the profitability of companies is also developing for the better. In January, 21 % of Häme companies estimate that profitability will improve somewhat. In May, profitability improves some or much of more than 32 % of companies.
Customs uncertainty puts the cart before the horse
Lack of skilled workers also slows down businesses.
The financial survey of the Chambers of Commerce was conducted in early May. There were 83 companies that responded to the Häme Chamber of Commerce, about one third of which are industrial companies and nearly one third of service companies. Most of the respondents employ less than 50 people.
In the whole country, 1464 companies of different sizes responded to the survey. The cyclical outlook for the whole country’s responses also emerged.
