The first series of chartered flights will fly from Rotterdam to Ruka-Kusamo in Northern Finland and Kittilä in Lapland.
Travel operator TUI will open a new charter flight series from Rotterdam to Ruka-Kusamo and Kittilä in January.
The flights are carried out as a triangular flight and the connection is the first direct flight connection between Rotterdam and Northern Finland. Visitors to the Netherlands are attracted to the northern lights and skiing.
– Lapland and the Northeast region offer experiences. Husky and reindeer rides, snowmobiling, ice skating and of course the northern lights are not as easily experienced elsewhere, says Klomberg.
The first flight will fly from Rotterdam to Kuusamo via Kittilä on January 14.
