The flight arriving in Kajaani on Sunday night and its return flight to Helsinki on Monday morning will be canceled due to low occupancy. The flight shift will be moved to Saturday, where there has been no flight so far.
Finnair will change the Kajaani flight schedule at the beginning of February.
Flight AY 419 arriving in Kajaani late on Sunday night and its return flight AY 420 to Helsinki on Monday morning at 5:10 am will be canceled due to the low occupancy rate of the flights. The fill rate of the Sunday night flight in particular has been weak in November, only 12 percent. There have been an average of eight passengers on the flight.
– In November, the average occupancy rate of flights on the Kajaani route was 65 percent, which is quite a good level. Our goal is also to make it rise clearly, which could support the return to profitable market-based route traffic and at the same time the long-term sustainability of flights.
The Sunday flight shift will be moved to Saturday, where there has not been a single flight. On Saturday, the departure from Helsinki is at 10:30 and the return flight from Kajaani is at 12:10.
*The subject can be discussed until 11 pm on December 30.*
