Spring temperature record broken: 22,9 degrees Celsius

Wednesday saw record high temperatures for spring.

According to the current forecast, the warmth will continue into Easter, at least for the start. On Good Friday, temperatures in south-western and southern Finland could reach 23 degrees. Then the weather will start to cool down again.

It is unlikely to reach record temperatures yet, as the record for April is 25.5 degrees Celsius, according to the Finnish Meteorological Institute. This was recorded in the city of Jyväskylä in April 1921.
