The Music Fairytales company combines fairy tales, classical music and information technology in its products. The goal is to open the world of music to children and create an international business at the same time.

The company Music Fairytales from Mikkeli conquers the world with its products aimed at children, which combine music, stories, computer graphics, animations and also elements of computer games. There is a selection of musical fairy tales in printed books, e-books and audio books, and all of them feature classical music in an important part.

The goal is to open the often difficult world of classical music to children.

– I hope that through our products, people would be able to access that power.

As a big effort, the company is working on a new Feel

– All our products are based on music and the fact that music moves. There are emotional balls in the story related to the music, and the listener is supposed to notice them. Gamification takes place through two applications. When you have collected enough emotional gems, you can play the fantasy instrument. There is also a painting section where the user can paint how the music feels, Laasanen describes the application platform.

– Thanks to this funding, we will be able to hire three full-time people to work for us on the application in progress. We are still quite a small company, and we need extra hands and extra brains to do it.

The application is scheduled to be completed next year or early spring 2024 at the latest.

– From the beginning, the goal has been to make this an international business. We have also made music storybooks in many languages, including English, Swedish, Russian, French, Ukrainian and Chinese. I also visited South Korea recently to look for partners.
