See what it’s like at hurlumhei rapper Petri Nygård’s party cake
Petri Nygård, known as a rapper with a wry tongue, celebrates his 25th anniversary as an artist. We went to see the atmosphere late Saturday night in Himos.
– I’ve heard from a few people that they would have been particularly disappointed if they *hadn’t* been mentioned in the song, Nygärd says.
In the domestic popular music canon, Nygård has become a perennial favourite over a quarter of a century, with his ambiguous lyrics focusing on sex and alcohol and pure joie de vivre and humour.
Nygård’s merit list includes the immortal slogans *Pannaan Suomi Kuntoon* and *Tuhansien Lärvien Maa*. In the artist’s online shop and at concerts, they sell fridge magnets with – how else – the words *Pill Magnets*.
The name of the latest song is *petrimalja *, and it doesn’t tell you about a bacterial culture: *Take a petrim and let it work, you will always notice how you can always get work *, the lyrics are rhymed.
– What is good humor like? This is a difficult question. Personally, I look at a lot of stand -up comedians. In my opinion, stand -up comedians are good that are a bit bustling -not to go with a basic thing that the viewer almost knows what comes from there, Nygård says.
“I am still here”
Of course, Nygård’s quarter -century artist can accommodate one or more. Naming the actual time is difficult for the artist.
– Maybe I’m still here. Of course, the cornerstones include *fucking Finnish rock *, a kind of comeback in the 2010s, moving to the universal record label, *Let’s get Finland in order *and *Nössö *and time ahead, Nygård lists.
Nygård mentions its intermittent renewal as the secret of his duration.
– My music is characterized by timelessness. On the other hand, I’ve always liked to do a little different. Once with Chlamydia, * once in the summer *, the song is punk -like, while Mokoma has been heavy. I’ve kept the boundaries open.
However, Nygård does not agree.
– Of course, there have been different suggestions. Overall political, staggering, sad, depressing: I do not go.
– In a way, all artists have it as artists. When the artist goes to the stage, you have to put a couple more snaps on it. When you realize this, nothing gets messed up.
