The old artificial turf in Kisapuisto is to be moved to Karisto field.

The renovation of the Kisparkisto will cost Lahti almost 760 000.

The artificial turf in Lahti Kisapuisto will also be ready for renewal next summer.

The city has finally found a contractor for the project after having to suspend the tender twice during the winter. In early January, the tender was suspended for a day following a complaint to the Market Court.

Since then, the tender has been revised again and now the contractor has been selected by decision of the official authority as Saltex Infra Oy. The work will cost the city just under €757 000, compared with the €700 000 the city had earmarked for the project.

The amount will renew the artificial turf, the elastic layer, the heating piping and the irrigation system. The aim is to do the work by Midsummer.

– For the renewal of the artificial turf of Kisapuisto, the schedule will keep the schedule, says Project Manager Tiittanen.

The career is also part of the transfer of old artificial turf on Karisto field, but it is likely to be realized later in the summer or autumn.

In the end, Lahti finally received only one offer from the artificial turf.
