Lysti ended short in Lahti: the city no longer keeps the water on the water of Lake Vesijärvi

The city of Lahti has stopped keeping the Vesijärvi ice route open this winter.

The city announces that the quality of the ice has been estimated by sample measurements. Clear steel ice has been stitched and its strength has weakened, so it is no longer safe to move on the ice route.

Ice will continue to deteriorate in the next few days, for which the weather forecast promises heat degrees.
