In February, freight was carried eight percent more than a year ago.

February 2025 has been the company’s best February ever in passenger and cargo volumes. Wasaline has recorded new record results, reflecting the growing demand in traffic between Vaasa and Umeå.

During February, the Wasali ship Aurora Botnia carried 16,415 passengers, almost 15 percent more than last year.

Freight volumes have also increased to record numbers: a total of 1,828 units were carried in February, which means an increase of 8 %.

In addition, Aurora Botnia’s modern technical solutions and low emissions have attracted more passengers and freight.
