Novartis kitchen manufacturing may end in Finland – 85 jobs at stake

Nobia Finland manufactures Novart kitchen furniture in Lahti. The company is considering transferring production to another country.

Nobia says in the release that it has launched change negotiations to adjust its operations. According to the company, the goal is to ensure the company’s competitiveness and long -term profitability.

One possible way to achieve this is to transfer production from Nastola to another Nordic production site within the Group.

Nobia estimates that the negotiations will end in April 2025. They may also lead to potential organizational changes in order to adapt the company to the market situation.
