A discussion on fitness survey and the future of the school will be open to all on February 20.

According to a recent fitness survey, the Nastola Church Village School is in renovation. The condition of the school building has been investigated by moisture and indoor air technology.

Based on the results, moisture and microbial damage is found in the bottom, exterior wall and upper floor structures and in the anti-terrestrial wall structures. The structures are not dense and are directed by air leaks.

In addition to structural damage, excessive amounts of mineral fibers have been found in the indoor air. Some facilities have excessive underpressure and ventilation is inadequate. Indoor air quality at school has weakened.

The Tilakeskus has conducted a discussion with research and follow -up with the school’s indoor air working group and the Board of Education. Next, health monitoring and occupational health are expected to assess the incidence of health damage.

According to the city, the school facilities are normally used for the time being. Personnel and schoolchildren are advised to contact the occupational health nurse or the school nurse if the indoor air causes symptoms.

The results of the research will be open to all February 20th. The event is at 5:30 pm at Kirkonkylä School. The aim is also to discuss the future of the Kirkonkylä school.

Kirkonkylä School operates from 1st to 6th. as a primary school for classes. There are about 200 students. There are about twenty staff.
