The Memory Foundation has €395 000 in start-up capital and donations collected this year.
With the worst of the Korona era behind us, the War and Peace Centre for Remembrance Foundation has been able to raise funds for donations. This year, €115 000 has been raised.
Most of the donations have come from businesses. For example, on Thursday, Etelä-Savon Energia donated EUR 20 000 to the Memory Support Foundation.
Foundations and private individuals have also contributed cash and shares.
Currently, the foundation capital is 395,000 euros and the donations collected during this year.
– It is clear that the capital must be strengthened in the coming times. We invite everyone to participate, including private individuals and organizations, says Puntanen.
The Memory Support Foundation still has a long way to go to become a large foundation, but the science center has nevertheless been well received.
– We have been a success. The public has embraced us, praise has been received for both the content and the way of working, says Puntanen, who is also Muist’s content director.
