Style expert Sami Sykö thought the hat was stylish, as did the country’s first lady.

For two days, the world has been watching the change of power in the US capital Washington.

Several years ago, he commented on the President’s Independence Day outfits on Yle television.

On the historic day, Melania Trump wore a hat and a navy blue jacket and skirt. Her hair was covered by a wide-brimmed hat.

– The jacket and hat represent well the way he dresses in general – that is, extremely elegantly and thoughtfully, even stiffly, says Sami Sykkö.

The outfit was suitably formal in accordance with the nature of the occasion.

– His dressing is not characterized by detachment, humor or fun. The attire of those taking office was in line with that: classic and traditional.

According to Sami Sykö, as a former photo model, Melania Trump understands how she should dress and what looks good in photos.

There was a message in the choice of attire for those taking office.

– Yes, the outfit is partly a message that we live in serious times.

The hat had to take up the whole show

Sami Sykkö is not surprised by how interested people are in what Donald Trump’s spouse wears and how closely it is followed in the media.

– Pretty much everything the couple does becomes a topic of conversation, or it becomes an uproar. They also want them, at least it seems that way.

This time, the biggest interest has been focused on the hat, under which the hair wrapped in a bun peeked out, and not much else.

– I thought the hat was really interesting and great, says Sykkö.

When President Donald Trump leaned in to kiss his wife, it appeared that the leer prevented the rapprochement.

– Maybe the eyes could have been seen though. I wonder what she wants to convey by covering her eyes? A certain mystery?

The hair had a more relaxed hairstyle.

– Now he steps into a new era from the shadow of the lyre and its shelters. With Lieri, he certainly wanted to add mystery. With no eyes visible, we couldn’t infer his feelings or thoughts.

The President’s wife is a style icon

Presidents’ wives are fashion influencers.

Fashion and style expert Sami Sykö is positive that Melania Trump favored American designers at the inauguration.

– The outfits may not have always been style triumphs, but he also took risks and the end results were often super interesting.

He is remembered as a respected style icon of the 1960s.

In Sykö’s opinion, Jacqueline Kennedy was \”extremely elegant\”.

– He was one of the most important fashion icons of all time, whose style is still recognizable. There may not be another one like it.
