Metallica last performed in Helsinki in 2018.

The band’s new M72 world tour starts in the Netherlands in the spring. It will arrive in Finland in June 2024.

The metal band Metallica will perform at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium on two nights in June 2024.

The concerts are part of the band’s M72 world tour. The tour starts in Amsterdam, Netherlands in April 2023 and ends in Mexico in September 2024.

In Europe, the tour will stop in a total of eight countries over the course of two years, including Finland.

The Olympic Stadium shows are on June 7 and 9, 2024. Two-day tickets go on sale this Friday, one-day tickets later in January.

During the tour’s shows, a round stage will be seen in the middle of the stadium, which is said to bring the band’s famous snake pit to the center of the stage. A different concert set will be heard on both nights.

Metallica is one of the most famous metal bands in the world. It has appeared in Finland many times before, for example in 2019 in Hämeenlinna.
