Climate activists tried to glue themselves to the world-famous Scream painting in Norway – police say Finn among those arrested

Norwegian police say on Twitter that two people tried to glue themselves to a glass-protected work at the National Museum. According to Norwegian media, a third person filmed the incident.

The Norwegian police also say on Twitter that the police have arrested three women in connection with the incident. According to the police, one of them is Finnish. The other two are from Denmark and Germany. Police are also in contact with one woman as a witness.

The Norwegian Munch’s work dates back to 1893 and is one of the most famous paintings in the world.

The purpose of the climate activists was to protest against the Norwegian oil industry.
