Piotr Pawlak from Poland won the Maj Lind piano competition

Six pianists played in the final of the international Maj Lind piano competition held at Musiikkitalo in Helsinki.

The 24-year-old Pawlak, who studies at the Stanisław Moniuszko Music Academy in Poland, received 30,000 euros as a prize. The second prize is 25,000 and the third 20,000 euros.
