Lahti City Council went on a seminar trip to Tampere

The council will explore the attractiveness of Tampere and discuss issues such as the energy crisis and the city’s finances.

The Lahti City Council will hold a seminar on Thursday and Friday in Tampere.

59 councillors and deputy councillors (27 members), the Audit Board, a representative of the Youth Council, officials and the local media have been invited to the seminar.

The Council will learn about the development of Tampere city centre and the city of experiences project. Other issues on the agenda include energy saving and the impact of the energy crisis, crisis preparedness and next year’s budget for Lahti.

The costs of the seminar are 35,000 euros. Yle Lahti is participating in the seminar.
