A new building is planned for Paavola, at an estimated cost of €8.5 million.
The Gulf will soon be making decisions on whether to renovate or build new large day-care centres.
On Tuesday, the Education Committee considered where the early childhood education in Laune and Hennala will be organised in the future. The options are to renovate the existing Laune day-care centre or to build a completely new day-care centre in Hennala.
A new day-care centre is planned for Paavola.
The renovation of Launee kindergarten would cost approximately 6.4 million euros, and the new building in Hennala 7.7 million euros. The cost estimate for Paavola’s new daycare center is around 8.6 million euros.
