Palmgren graduated from Teatterikorkeakoulu with a master’s degree in dance art in 2004. He has worked in the field of dance art for over 20 years in various positions, including as a dancer, choreographer, audience worker and pedagogue.
The new artistic director plans to make contemporary dance more approachable and vibrant in the region in many different ways.
