The Tampere-based RH-Entertainment company has applied for corporate restructuring.

One of Finland’s biggest concert organizers, RH-Entertainment oy, has applied for corporate restructuring.

It was first reported by Iltalehti.

According to Huhtala, the reason for applying for restructuring is the company’s critical liquidity situation.

– The background of the rapid change in the willingness to pay is the sum of many events and the general uncertain situation. The company made big artist engagements for the summer of 2022, which did not sell as expected. The company also had to cancel events for reasons beyond its control, Huhtala says in an e-mail message.

The cancellations of concerts organized by the company and other problems have already been reported in various parts of Finland.

With the restructuring, the Tampere-based company aims to ensure business continuity. The district court of Pirkanmaa has not yet given an answer in the matter, i.e. there is no information whether the company will get into debt restructuring.

The company is currently organizing big concerts and gigs. For example, megastar, rapper 50 Cent is coming in November for a four-show tour in Finland. It occurs in Kuopio, Oulu, Turku and Seinäjoki.

50 Cent has sold more than 30 million albums in his career.

– Yes, answers Huhtala briefly to Yle’s question.

The company also organizes, for example, Il Divo’s concerts in Finland in October, several festivals and the Hard Christmas tour.
