A student sick with corona should stay at home for a few days. Lahti city schools offer learning support if the absence is prolonged.

The current instruction is that a student infected with the corona virus stays at home for at least five days. The sick person should be relatively symptom-free two days before returning to school. Infection can be detected with a home test if even mild symptoms appear.
According to the review published on Tuesday, 28 patients with corona are being treated at Päijät-Häme Central Hospital. Some are in treatment precisely because of the corona disease, while some are in the hospital for other reasons and they also have a corona infection. There are no corona patients in intensive care.
