Vik and Köpi’s new show is a playground where anything can happen – \”Probably cause disapproval again\”

According to the favorite presenters, the program that can be seen in Areena combines podcast and television. We asked five questions about the new hybrid show.

The popular host duo Ville \”Viki\” Eerikkilä and Juuso \”Köpi\” Kallio are facing something new when they move from traditional radio work to moving pictures.

A new studio has been built for the show, which looks like a living room. The broadcasts contain familiar content from YleX Aam, but also more free things to do. A new functional studio will help with that, where you can get even closer to the audience.

Viki ja Köpi Show editor-hosts Ville \
– Yes, radio is probably the first love of both of us. You can always make a comeback, but now let’s do this, say the editor-hosts of the new Viki ja Köpi Show Ville \”Viki\” Eerikkilä and Juuso \”Köpi\” Kallio.

Köpi: I hope it’s going to be funny, because it’s our trademark after all. Hopefully it will also be more limitless and flexible than traditional radio.

Viki: Who can say what this is. This is a hybrid show of sorts. Some podcast, some TV.

Viki: A free playground has been built for us, where there is space and opportunities to test all kinds of things.

Köpi: We are not at the mercy of playlists, so we can play some music if we want to.

Viki: People have often wished for more roads and less music. Now it is possible.

Köpi: In addition, we have a designated broadcast time of two hours, but now we are in Areena, so if one day we feel like doing three hours of broadcast, then that is possible.

Reporters Juuso \
– The program will feature old classic sections from the days of morning radio. We also go through the day’s burning news topics and our own observations about life and the world around us, say Juuso \”Köpi\” Kallio and Ville \”Viki\” Eerikkilä, who are starting the new show.

Viki: Two overage children play three times a week for at least two hours a day.

Köpi: Likely to cause disapproval as always. Is this where all the tax money goes.

Viki: On the radio side, we have had to go with guests through music. Now almost any interesting person can be accepted as a guest here. You can also go outside the studio to make broadcasts.

Köpi: We’re going back to our journalistic roots and we’re going to offer reports.

Köpi: Yes, this is closer. Years of learning drove us to this point, when we realized how much we enjoyed doing all the specials.

Köpi: We had a few good idis with swear words, but they didn’t pass the screen. One was the Viki ja Köpi Show – a mix and may contain nuts. But we have never been able to decide on a slogan. Maybe it will shape up along the way.
