Tiktok users make the most of MP Keskisarija’s annoyance – the videos make fun of the argument about fake nails and aftershave

A social media phenomenon developed from the comments of Teemu Keskisarjan, member of parliament for Basic Finns.

The member of parliament of the Fundamental Finns took a stand on the cuts in study and housing support presented by the government by criticizing the students’ expensive taste.

In his speech in Parliament on October 13, Keskisarja, MP for Basic Finns, accused students of claiming to be poor, but nevertheless investing in expensive clothes, perfumes, loose nails and eyelashes.

*\”I just got a place to study and this kind of banger is dripping.\”*

*\”I’m listening to this banger when I should be able to get through the end of the month on 8 euros.\”*

*\”Glistening nails this month, so grocery shopping in English.\”*

*\”I want to play this Moominpapa’s new music immediately.\”*

In Keskisarjan’s opinion, the students cannot afford to complain about the government’s described cuts to the index increase of the tuition fee or the housing allowance, because a large part of the students have nicer clothes than a member of parliament earning seven thousand euros.

In the videos made by the students, they dance to the rhythm of Keskisarija’s statements and eat oatmeal and spray toilet cleaner as perfume. To the rhythm of the Keskisarja song, videos have also been made of the material of the debate filmed in the parliament.

\”Horters, harasses, harasses\” repeats Keskisarijan with a sampled song from the parliamentary speech, which is shared on the X message service, formerly Twitter.

However, one would think that the Keskisarja videos would momentarily bring a smile to the faces of students munching on macaroni and cooking oatmeal. The chatter of Viestpalvelu X reminds that you can buy glittering nails at a discount store for less than a tenner.
