A minor student at the Lahti branch of Kiipula Vocational College suffered injuries when he was punched by another student last Thursday. Police are investigating the suspicion.
The Häme police have opened a preliminary investigation into a confrontation between two minors at the Lahti branch of the Kiipula Vocational College last Thursday. According to the police, one of them had been a passive party when the other had hit him, for example in the face.
The case has been reported to the police and the social services have also been informed.
– It is true that young people’s behaviour has changed over the last couple of years at school. The same restlessness as in the rest of society.
The police have not yet been able to interrogate the parties, as the suspected hitman disappeared from the scene.
The head of the investigation will be named on Monday.
Lahti’s Svinhufvudinkatu location is the largest of the units in the region, with 90 students. The students are mainly in the social and health sector or in preparatory education.
Kiipula vocational college is a special vocational school where more than a thousand students who require special support study each year. The vocational college operates in nine locations in southern Finland.
