Some of Detur’s customers say on social media that hotels have asked them to pay for their accommodation a second time because Detur is having payment problems.
Finnish tourists on Detur package holidays have received messages from hotels saying that Detur has been unable to pay for accommodation in Finnish hotels.
Detur accommodates customers in more than a dozen hotels in Alanya, and the payment problems affect all of them.
On Wednesday, Detur sent faxes to hotels informing them of the sale of the tour operator to another company.
Detur’s telephone service was closed on Thursday morning.
