Even if the jackpot didn’t hit, the prize money still came to €60 000, of which the taxman will of course take his share.

It’s easy to shout answers from the comfort of your own home, but how did it feel to be in a TV studio competing?

– It starts with a qualifying question, where the fastest correct answer goes through to the next round. At that point I was nervous, because I’m a slow person from Heme. To my surprise, I made it to the next round and then I was able to relax. My wife said I’ve never been so relaxed sober,” laughs Nordberg.

In the competition, Nordberg was asked, among other things, whose songs are _Blowin’ in the Wind_ and _Like a Rolling Stone_?

Everyone has their own black hole

Everyone who has taken quizzes knows their own strengths and weaknesses. For some, they are related to reality TV shows and for others to sports.

– I don’t know much about sports either, but luckily I could call a friend. I also don’t know anything about these game things, and the straw that saved me was when the audience knew, says Nordberg.

However, Nordberg got stuck in the 200,000 euro question, which guessed the first Swedish Nobel laureate.

One more race to go

Nordberg says that he is not a trivia enthusiast, although he has participated in a pub quiz in Lahti.

– I have participated a few times when friends asked me to join the team. You can have a few beers and participate in this kind of hobby, and things will fall nicely into place, says Nordberg.

Is Nordberg still interested in participating in competitions now that he has become successful?

– Well, there is one contest where the possibilities will only improve after this story, and that is Finland’s most pointless celebrity contest!
