Traveling by bus is more expensive in the Lahti region.

It is proposed to the Public Transport Board that ticket prices will be increased by three percent in connection with the zoning reform. The increase is justified by, among other things, rising costs.

The price increase is proposed evenly for all tickets. The zoning reform, which has already been decided, is estimated to reduce box office revenues by 4.5 percent and, in addition to the reduction in quiet time, by almost two percent.

The purpose is to waive the quiet time discount. The reason is the fear of even greater losses of ticket revenues compared to the increase in the number of passengers.

However, the current Senior discount remains valid.
