Lahti city manager Timonen’s work is praised in the city council – the set goals have been met

In the mayor’s annual results and development discussion, the goals set in the previous year are reviewed. According to the presidium of the City Council, the goals have been reached in Lahti.

Based on the annual results and development discussion, the city board’s chairmanship states that Timonen has achieved his goal. For example, business satisfaction in Lahti has increased and the status of a university town has improved.

The priorities and goals of the mayor’s activities are based on the city’s strategy, budget and financial and operational plan.

At the same time, the city government confirmed the mayor’s salary increase. It is a total salary, in addition to which no work experience bonus, personal bonus or working time allowances are paid.
