The technology supply contract with the French company is worth almost €45 million. Earlier this spring, Raute announced contracts in Latvia and Uruguay.

Raute, a provider of technology and services for the wood products industry, has received an order worth EUR 44.6 million from France.

The Lahti-based company has signed a contract for the supply of technology for a new production plant to the French Thebault Group. The machinery and equipment ordered will be delivered during 2024.

According to a press release, the equipment will be manufactured at the company’s production facilities in Lahti and Kajaani and in the company’s partner network. The new veneer bar production plant is the first of its kind in France.

Thebault Group is the leading plywood manufacturer in France and among the five largest plywood manufacturers in Europe.

Earlier this spring, Raute told about significant cooperation agreements with Uruguay and Latvia. New contract partners are important to the company, as Raute has had to reduce its staff after the end of business in Russia, among other things.
