Bus connections from other parts of the province to Ylivieska will be improved next summer, says the ely center of North Ostrobothnia. From the beginning of August, part of the bus routes from Pyhänna and Siikalatva’s Piippola and Pulkkila to Haapavede will be extended to Ylivieska.
On the other hand, there will be new routes between Kalajoki and Kärsämäki from the beginning of June. Shifts are run through Oulainen and Haapavesi during school holidays and weekends. At the same time, some of the quiet weekend shifts between Kalajoki and Oulaiten, for example, will be discontinued.
