The health forest, primarily intended for the use of the central hospital, is also a nature trail open to everyone.

The construction of Lahti’s health forest has started by transporting supplies along the route for the construction of long trees.

The health forest located near the Päijät-Häme Central Hospital, in the Kintterö nature reserve, is intended especially for the use of the central hospital as a relaxing and rehabilitative natural environment. At the same time, it is a nature trail open to everyone.

A shelter, a yoga platform, signposts and benches will be built on the route. Construction in the area will continue until the end of June 2023.

Those moving in the area are asked to be careful and to circulate around the work areas using alternative footpaths. The site markings in the area must be followed.
