Mehiläinen, Terveystalo and Pihlajalinna vaccinate either on fewer days or in fewer locations than before.
Large health companies have reduced the supply of corona vaccinations.
The State Council decided before Christmas that corona vaccines will be handed over to private healthcare providers. This made it possible for all 18-year-olds to receive a booster vaccine through private health care, even though THL did not recommend it.
Mehiläinen, Terveystalo and Pihlajalinna report that they have recently reduced the provision of corona vaccinations due to declining demand. Appointments are offered less frequently or in fewer locations than before.
For example, in Lahti it is currently possible to get corona vaccination appointments for private individuals, but not in Hämeenlinna.
THL reported last week that private operators have also requested fewer vaccine preparations than before.
