The weather forecast promises sunny days for the Easter weekend. There is enough snow to keep all the slopes in good condition in Tahko and Koli.

The skiing season is starting to end this season, but the spring winter with plenty of snow will still allow for good skiing weather at least for Easter.

A busy weekend is expected in the ski resorts. It is reported from Tahko Keskusvaramao that the Easter weekend accommodations already reached 90 percent occupancy before the weekend.

There is still a lot of snow in Koli.

The snow is still brisk in both ski resorts and all slopes are open. Business director Pasi Martikainen estimates that there is still 50–60 centimeters of natural snow in Tahko.

Slope manager Janne Jetsonen describes that at the moment the slope at Koli is packed after night frosts and driving. The slope softens a little during the day in the sun, but does not become slushy.

– There is no ice on the slope right now and it is really good to ski. The slope itself is probably still on the minus side, so it hasn’t gotten muddy at all, Soininen reflects.
