In Oulu’s Meri-Toppila, you can get to know the residential area with guided photography tours

On Meri-Toppila’s photo walks, you can view the residential area both through a camera and otherwise only as a pictorial object. The picture shows piles on the roof of the Alwar Aalto silo in the middle of the area.

Photo walks are organized about once a month, and a photo exhibition is put together from the photos taken during them.

Northern Photo Center is organizing several photo walks in Oulu’s Meri-Toppila this spring.

During the walks, you get to know the surroundings with new eyes. Maritime students as well as others interested in the subject and photography can join.

Kangasmaa says that last year’s walks organized in Kaijonharju were so popular that the idea was now also used in Meri-Toppila.
