Almost 20,000 eligible voters have gone to the polls in Päijät-Hämee

Thursday was a more lively early voting day for the parliamentary elections in Päijät-Häme than the first early voting day on Wednesday.

With two days of advance voting left in the Parliamentary elections, around 19 500 people have gone to the polls in Päijät-Häme.

In Asikkala, which voted the most, about every seventh eligible voter filled out a ballot. In Lahti, more than 12 percent of eligible voters have voted in advance. Municipal information can be found on the Ministry of Justice’s election website.

Early voting ends on Tuesday of next week. The actual election day is Sunday, April 2.
