Vuokatinvaari has a lot of outdoor activities and the toboggan run runs next to Ammelampi. There is also a risk of waterfalls elsewhere.
The mouth of the opening is heavily covered with snow, making it impossible to see the opening.

There are also other ponds in the Vuokatinvariari, where there is a risk of uvea flooding. Järvinen therefore advises people in the area to stay on land. Sledgers should also avoid driving on the ice in the ponds.
– Now you should watch out for currents in all other ponds and waterways as well. There are open water holes on the lakes as well and we have already warned sledders about currents.
