Turku raises ticket prices for the Philharmonic Orchestra.

There will be a two-euro increase in the price of symphony tickets compared to normal and pensioner tickets. The price of children’s concerts will also increase by one euro.

Prices for children, students, conscripts and unemployed people will remain unchanged.

In the future, a standard ticket for the symphony series will cost 29.50 euros and a senior ticket 24.50 euros. In the future, an adult ticket for children’s concerts costs 18.50–23.50 euros, and a children’s ticket costs 9.50–10.50 euros, depending on the concert.

According to the city, due to inflation, it is necessary to make small increases in ticket prices in order to meet the orchestra’s revenue goals.

The price increases will take effect in September. The Turku Culture and Youth Board decided on the matter on Wednesday.

The board also decided that in the future, the table service at the orchestra’s events will be included in the price of the concert ticket.
