Well, well, poop! attracted a record number of visitors to Turku Biological Museum

Visitors can learn to identify the droppings of different animal species at the “Poop, poop!” exhibition.

More than 47 500 people visited the exhibition of animal poop. It was particularly popular with families with children.

The Turku Biological Museum’s exhibition “Kappas, Kakkaa!” broke the museum’s attendance record.

The exhibition of animal faeces attracted 47 525 visitors in just over a year.

The exhibition closed at the weekend.

Ruohonen was satisfied that the exhibition lowered the threshold of museum visits and brought new visitors to the museum.

The biological museum is especially popular with families with children and kindergarten groups.

A quarter of museum visitors use a museum card.
