LAB University of Applied Sciences, XAMK University of Applied Sciences of South-East Finland and LUT University all offer new courses.
The second joint spring call for universities starts today (Wednesday). Applications are now open for Finnish-language bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes in all fields of education. Depending on the course, studies can be completed entirely online, web-based or campus-based.
LAB-ammattikorkeakoulu has 1 687 study places available on its Lahti and Lappeenranta campuses.
XAMK has a total of 2 112 places at the Kotka, Kouvola, Mikkeli and Savonlinna campuses.
At LAB, for the first time, the application is for a bachelor’s degree in electrical and automation technology to be completed in Lahti. There are also 30 new places to start additional nursing education. The training takes place during the day at the Lappeenranta campus.
Newly, XAMK offers a food technology engineering education focused on plant-based foods at its Kouvola campus, the only one in Finland. In addition, the search also includes two new courses leading to a higher master’s degree, a course focused on personnel management and communication and a course focused on business responsibility. They are organized online.
Among LUT University’s bachelor’s programs, engineering and business studies and a new social science education are being applied for. A total of 621 starting places are available.
The joint application ends on March 30.
