The tuba is the theme instrument of the year. There will be two public request concerts.

The themes for next summer’s Lieksa Copper Week are starting to be clear.

Copper Week will take place at the end of July, with the theme “Vases of comfort and hope”.

There will be two Copper Week Wish Concerts. One will feature hymns and anthems requested by the public, the other will feature Finnish and Argentinean tangos.

As usual, Vaskiviiki has free and paid concerts, yard concerts and student concerts.

The theme instrument of the year is the tuba, the smallest and largest of the brass instruments. The international tuba competition is organized for the fourth time.
