A clear majority of the MP candidates in the Häme electoral district support Savo’s straight line from Lahti via Heinola to Mikkeli. 76 percent of the candidates who answered the regional question of Yle’s electoral machine support the development of train traffic between Helsinki and Mikkeli in accordance with the Savo straight line option.

However, 22 percent of respondents disagreed or completely disagreed.
