The Ely center is looking for caregivers for six different traditional landscape sites through a competition.

In North Karelia, we are looking for skilled workers to take care of and repair the province’s traditional landscapes. The Ely center is currently running a tender for the treatment of six different sites.

People are needed for the sites to clear trees and bushes, erect fences, and mow the grass.

We are also looking for animal owners who want their animals to graze in traditional landscapes.

Tendering for works will continue until March 22.

Traditional landscapes, such as meadows, fields, swamps and coastal and forest pastures, need care in order to preserve them and their diverse species.
