On the first day of March, filming of the drama series will begin at the sports center. It is worth checking the track situation before going skiing, even at the end of March, when the Salpausselkä Games are approaching.

There are plenty of exceptional arrangements in the traffic and on the tracks in the Lahti sports center area during March.

Starting from the first day of March, skiing will be affected by filming of the drama series Lahti 2001, which is why the ski slopes are closed. Skiers should check the piste situation at the city piste service.

Later in March, the Hopesompa, Continental Cup and Salpausselkä’s 100th anniversary races will affect movement on the tracks and streets

Due to race preparations, there may be snowmobiles, ATVs and snowmobiles on the slopes of the Sports Center area, so motorists should follow the signs.

As usual, due to the Salppur Games, there is limited traffic on the streets of the Sports Center area and nearby. At the same time, the parking areas are reserved for use by the race organization.

This year, the Salpausselkä competitions will be exceptionally held on the 24th–26th. March.
