Last year, LAB University of Applied Sciences received 2 million euros in tuition fees from foreign students

The net amount has increased in recent years. Academic fees are paid by students from outside the EU and EEA countries.

The academic fees received by LAB University of Applied Sciences have doubled in recent years. Universities of applied sciences charge annual fees from students from countries other than the EU and EEA.

In 2020, LAB collected EUR 1.05 million with annual fees, excluding grants. Last year, the net amount was 2.1 million euros. About 700 students were obliged to pay the academic year fees last year.

Foreign students usually participate in English-language education programs, which were last applied for in the first joint application of universities in the spring. At LAB, the number of applicants increased sixfold from last year.
