The shopping centre, Lahti Skateboarders Association and Pinna Skateboarding together enable skateboarding and skating indoors.
In Lahti, skateboarders will be able to use the parking garage of the Trio shopping centre with permission to practice the sport. The Lahti Skateboarders Association, in cooperation with the local skateboarding community, Pinna Skateboarding, and Trio, will organise a skateboarding shift once a week.
Starting on Friday 3 February, members of the Lahti Skateboarding Club can participate on skateboards or skateboards. The space is available from 16-20.
According to the association, the initiative came from the shopping centre. There are no official indoor skateboarding facilities in Lahti.
