Sports Gala awards Snow Queen Ice Ballet as Sports Culture Act of the Year

The Franco-German cultural channel Arte has bought the rights to a recording of the Snow Queen ice ballet.

The Snow Queen ice ballet performed at Tampere Arena at the turn of the year has won the Sports Culture Achievement of the Year award at the Urheilugaal. The Sports Gala will be held on Thursday evening in Helsinki.

The award is a recognition of the work of domestic large-scale production for the benefit of Finnish sports culture.

The justification states that the Snow Queen production has brought together top athletes such as figure skaters, figure skaters, dancers, ice hockey players and the brightest stars of the performing arts in an unprecedented way to create artistic expression that transcends the artistic threshold.

In addition, the reasons state that exercise and sports, which play a central role in production, are good for both physical and mental health, thus supporting overall well-being.
