Beck performed in Finland last summer with actor Johnny Depp.
Beck was one of the most respected guitar virtuosos of his generation and a multiple Grammy Award winner. He was ranked number five on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time.
– I can hardly express how sad I am to hear of Jeff Beck’s passing. What a terrible loss to his family, friends and many fans,” Osbourne writes.
Osbourne says he was honoured that Beck appeared on his latest album Patient Number 9, released last year.
Before this, Beck performed at Pori Jazz in 2010. Beck had a more than 50-year career as a guitarist.
