Prince Harry’s biography Spare is the number one talking point of the day and one of the most anticipated book releases of the year in Britain. The public rush to bookstores was still not experienced.
Many bookshops in Great Britain opened their doors at midnight when Prince Harry’s biography was published at the end of the day.
Demand had to be at its peak, because according to the Waterstones bookstore chain, for example, the book was already the biggest hit in a decade in terms of the number of pre-orders.
The BBC reported that fans were queuing up to get their hands on the book.
The lady noticed that she was the only customer in the bookstore
After the initial drug landed, conflicting information began to flow from Britain. The tabloids are now reporting how bookstores in London are rather puzzled by the lack of queues and the non-existent rush of the public.
The book does worse than expected because the revelations were published in advance?
It should be clear that Prince Harry’s autobiography, which was published in sixteen countries today, did not cause a similar global bookstore rush as, for example, *Harry Potter* once did. *Spare* is already sold in Britain at half price, fourteen pounds.
The reason for the unfortunate success compared to expectations is thought to be the extraordinary attention that *Spare* received even before its release. Copies of the book were leaked for sale in Spain a few days before the release, and the biggest revelations were announced in advance. In addition, Prince Harry has given extensive international interviews on the subject before the book’s publication.
The Sun reported yesterday, based on a poll, that Prince Harry is at an all-time low in popularity. However, it hardly has anything to do with the success of the biography, which contains numerous juicy revelations.
*Spare* will be published in Finnish as *Varamies* on January 19 (Otava).
*The topic can be discussed on 11.1. until 11 p.m.*
