Japan’s tourism on a massive growth path

Tourism in Japan is at record levels. In April, 3.9 million tourists visited Japan. This was an increase of 28.5 per cent on the previous year.

Visitors from all over the world come to see the spring cherry blossoms in particular.

According to the Japan Tourism Agency, tourism increased from other Asian countries. In Europe and the United States, the Easter holidays boosted April’s popularity as a tourist month.
